I co-founded The Marketing Dept. from the ground up, which meant solving a problem most clients never have to think about: when your product is creative thinking itself, your own brand is the first thing anyone judges it by. In a market full of agencies promising strategy and creativity, ours had to prove it before a single pitch meeting.

I built the brand to work as a living example, not just a logo behind a slogan. Every touchpoint — social, blog content, the website, sales materials — had to carry the same voice and point of view, because a fragmented brand telling clients to fix theirs would've undercut us instantly. Clarity became the strategy: if disciplined creative thinking was visible just by existing, the pitch had already started.
